Technical Specialist - Pre-Sales - SharePoint.

Our client has a very exciting and fast growing business related to a best-of-breed workflow solution.

Our client is looking for a skilled, experienced and energetic Technical Specialist in support of growing its business in the UK and European region. Candidates must be prepared to work in a motivated, fast paced, energetic global team and continually strive to improve. They are also required to have at least 4 year’s experience in a developer capacity on the Microsoft stack, with at least 2 of these years on the Microsoft .NET platform.

The successful candidate will be deployed to assist with technical pre-sales, solution design and implementation and some professional consulting work as part of the UK and European HQ team. This team works with partners and customers in UK and Europe.

Key objectives of the UK and Europe operations include:

• Grow the regional Microsoft relationship and joint engagement levels
• Support and develop the regional partner channel in support of profitable partnerships
• Grow the K2.net related sales pipeline
• Provide technical pre and post sales support to customers and partners
• Maintain and grow customer relationships in support of customer satisfaction levels

Typical day to day activities included in this role will be pre-sales consulting, pre-sales technical support, solution design and implementation as well as post sales technical support and participation in short term project activities and proof of concepts

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Skills:

• A solid understanding of the Microsoft technical eco-system and related technology/solution concepts.
• A deep Microsoft focused technical background.
• A solid conceptual understanding of general technical solution architecture in the enterprise space.
• Experience in performing technical pre-sales, design and implementation of projects and solutions built around workflow, business process automation and/or other Microsoft - .NET based solutions.

Knowledge of - and experience in consulting around some or all of the following technologies:

• .Net (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, ADO.NET)
• SQL 2000/2005
  XML and other open standards
• InfoPath
• BizTalk Server 2004/2006
• SharePoint Portal Server 2003
• Content Management Server 2002
• Exchange 2000/2003

Relevant Education and Qualification:
 
Degree or diploma from an industry accredited tertiary institution in Engineering or Computer Science.
Industry specific qualification e.g. MCSD, MCSE, or MCDBA certification.

This is a London based role paying up to £45,000 for the right candidate.
